CSU, Chico Campus Directory Cover
Brief: Every year, CSU, Chico republishes it's campus directory. This year, I was given the opportunity to design the cover.
Approach: Throughout the year, the campus had seen its fair share of construction. I decided it would be appropriate to focus on the changes occurring and used "change" as a theme for my ideas.
Solution: I came up with three unique interpretations of the theme. The one highlighted here is highly illustrative and uses symbols associated with change such as flowers and butterflies. My second idea highlights the newly completed Student Services Center and incorporates the type into the image. My final idea displays architecture of the past and the present. It also fell closest to the standard look of the directory and was chosen by the client.
